Residential Assisted Care

Independent living and assisted care are offered in the former residence of the McCutchen family. Several acres of lawns and gardens surround the Home with beautiful specimens of domestic and foreign trees and flowering shrubs.

This stately Victorian mansion, built in 1886, features breathtakingly beautiful stained and leaded glass windows, marble fireplaces, Tiffany chandeliers and intricately carved woodwork.

A friendly community has been established in which residents participate in activities to the degree they desire, but retain for themselves as much privacy and freedom to come and go as they wish. McCutchen Friends Home offers a blending of security and comfort with privacy and sociability.

There are 17 private rooms with full baths. Delicious home-cooked meals are served family-style in the elegant dining room.

Personal care services (such as medication administration and assistance with bathing and dressing) are included at no extra charge in the monthly fees.

Independent Apartments

Independent living is provided in apartments surrounded by the beautiful McCutchen gardens. The apartments offer either one or two bedrooms, spacious living/dining rooms and kitchenettes. Optional meal plans are available in the elegant Residential Home Dining Room.

Activities offered include exercise programs, discussion groups, educational seminars, and trips to area attractions such as the theater, museums, malls and restaurants. Weekly housekeeping, linen services and on-site parking spaces are included. There is a nurse on the campus 24 hours a day.
